What is the European Parking Academy?

1) There is one legally established standard for Safe and Secure Parking Areas in the European Union. This standard is laid down in the Delegated Regulation 2022/1012. This standard foresees criteria for security and services along with procedures for the certification of parking areas. Only independent audit bodies appointed by the European Commission and the national Accreditation Bodies are allowed to conduct the certification process. The EU Parking Academy helps parking operators prepare for the certification in all respects, based on our comprehensive online training and in-person advice. While following our qualified course is mandatory for each staff member to obtain and keep the certification, we go above and beyond pure training, we get you audit-ready.

4) Customer Care Training Programme for truck parking operators: This training programme guides operators of truck parking areas to understand the needs of truck drivers implement safety and security measures, ensure cleanliness and maintenance, provide efficient service and amenities, communicate effectively with truck drivers, set up a complaints handling and ultimately creating a “home away from home experience”.
