This course is offered by the EU Parking Academy to executives managing Safe and Secure
Parking Areas for Trucks and staff members in a blended approach. This introductory chapter
presents the background, the objectives and the methodology of this one-day training.
The EU-Parking Standard foresees that the training of parking area managers and staff should
encompass at least 6 hours of training based on the 4 following training modules (4 x 1,5
hours). The online course provides for this duration in a blended learning approach,
combining coursework and online lessons.
